Thanks to the NAQP Contest Committee for all the work putting on the twice a
year Contest. Your effort and time is appreciated.
Number of new calls (to me) were worked in the Contest. Always a good sign
seeing RTTY contesting activity increasing.
Between taking down a friends tower and approx. in the middle of getting over a
Summer cold, ran out of stamina to stay in the chair. Definitely a BIC problem.
Had to put the station back together after the tower work and before could get
in the Contest as several pieces of gear were used in the local club's Field
Day activity. Plus, we have had a number of thunderstorms come thru since
Field Day further discouraging putting the stuff back in place. Surprised when
the equipment worked without a problem when reconnected today.
Eighty and 40 seemed to be reasonable for mid Summer. No storms in the area
help immensely. Didn't get a enough time on 20 to get a sense of the band's
condition.
Thanks to all who were kind enough to work me. Appreciate all the QSOs.
73,
Mike, K4GMH
