Comments:
Lots of fun. Need to get SO2R capable. I was unable to move mults- would have
had to break from 100+ rate on 80 (for example), slide across the room to
another band,work the mult (hoping for a clear freq. --if he/she showed up),
and then slide back to original station...all before I lost my frequency. As a
result I spent way too much time on 160 (1 1/2 hours) @ a 65/hr rate when I
could have passed mults and maintained my 100+ rate on 80. Oh,well. Lessons
learned.
40 was way too long each time I tried it. 20 was majic--just the right number
calling without a lot of QRM. Very little on 15 and nothing heard on 10
(except a local sked).
All in all, a fun contest from South Texas.
