Comments:
This was my second year operating with the Inverted L (40 vertical, 80 sloping
down horizontally to 20 feet). My RX antenna was my low (10-15 feet) 80 meter
dipole with one end attached to my neighbor's 200x200x200x200 chain link fence.
If anyone knows why this works, let me know! Well, it kinda works...at least a
ton better than the inverted L. Sorry for all that I still couldnt pull out of
the static.
I was about 100 Q's ahead of last year at 0600Z when I decided to get some
sleep so I wouldnt be a complete zombie at the Packer game on Sunday (I wish
the Packer's hadnt been zombies!) Got 5 hours of sleep and got back on around
1100Z and quit at 1300Z to go tailgating at Lambeau. Ended up 23 Q's ahead,
but 5 sections behind last year.
