Well, that was okay for QRP SSB and no sunspots.
There were a lot of s-l-o-w periods where no QSOs
were made. When I had scanned the bands and worked
everyone loud enough (S5 or more) to hear me, I would
take a half-hour off, and then try again later.
My "Good Ears" Awards to those who worked me when I was
only receiving them S5 or S6:
VP2V/K9NW, PY3OPP, E51JD, LU6FOV and LU8EOT
On 40m I was unable to get through the shortwave broadcast,
noise and competition to make any progress.
