Comments:
Ran a S & P operation (my choice) from home this time, which lowered the score
somewhat. Only have a 6 beam up at this qth. At no time was any dx heard that
was identified. To the east, furthest worked was in FN20 and FN21, with W2SZ
and K1WHS chased frequently, to get only QRZ??? and gone. To the west,
furthest heard and worked was EN80, EN81 and EN82. To the south, got K8GP
first try, and heard solid much of the contest, also W4IY.
Only rover heard and worked, 3 times in fact was K2QO/R, thanks Mark.
Sunday morning, a very weak cw station was heard that was not NA but could not
get the call. Was beaming 120 at the time.
Happy to give out the points to all I worked. Many thanks to all
participating, and to the ARRL for once again sponsoring another fun filled VHF
contest.
73,
Bill VE3CRU
