Comments:
When I went in my backyard Saturday morning I found an enormous branch from the
neighbor's tree sitting on my jacuzzi. I looked up and saw that since my tower
was nested, it had taken off an 8' chunk of my 80m driven element. Antenna
tuner to the rescue, the Alpha 87A liked it and it didn't hurt my score.
Staying on a strange 20m band too long did hurt my score. Strangely, my hourly
rates were 75, 70, 79, 77. My last two hours have never been better than the
first two.
Heard lots of ALs, but never heard Alabama!!! Heard and missed MAR.
