That was fun! This was my second attempt at high power from here and didn't have
interference issues to deal with. Conditions on 20m seemed to resemble 10m and
it went long with weak signals 45 minutes into the first hour. I found N3BB
calling CQ on his 2nd radio on 20m late into the contest with a booming signal
and worked him quickly. Then I found N4DW for another qso, but couldn't raise
anyone else for the next 2 minutes. I decided to go to 80m for the rest of the
contest and noticed a thunderstorm was in the area, which made copying
serial numbers a challenge. I missed quite a few easy multpliers that were on
such as MO, MD, KY, VE7, VE1, and KL7. I never heard W9RE at all and only
worked one station in WA, K7SS. I can't wait for the next one in February.
