Comments:
Excuses:
1. 5 minutes before the NS I discovered the Confuzer on Locust Peak either
burned up in the 100 degree plus heat today, or took a complete Murphy dump
with no way to restore operation remotely.
2. After fiddling around with #1 above partway into the NS period, I then
attempted to operate from home only to find no rig control and no keying from
the home Confuzer even after rebooting, etc.
At 5 minutes before the END of the practice (with the air still extremely
'Blue' here), I decided to get a pen, paper & use the paddles (a la K7SS
style), turned on the amp, and started with QSO #71 (to mitigate my
frustration). I think each station worked asked for a repeat of my QSO number
:^)
Murphy really stuck it to me tonight. That's OK, because when all is said and
done, I WILL (eventually) prevail !!!
73 & Tnx for the 5 Q's...
Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
