Comments:
Had to work again Saturday so missed the good part of the contest.
This is a really fun contest. It is the perfect conest for doing 2 radios.
According to the logger, I had 29 second radio Q's. I didn't start using the
second radio for about an hour after I started as being 'fresh meat' on 20
gave me a pretty good rate for abot an hour. It is really fun to be calling CQ
on 1 radio while copying an exchange on the other. Really gets the adrenalin
going! RTTY is the perfect mode for this.
Again, there were a lot of new contesters on. Lots of 2 x 3 callsigns and some
of these guys are getting pretty good at this. Nice snappy exchanges with not a
lot of CR/LF at the end of the line (although N1MM Logger now has a option that
strips all those useless characters off). The exchange that gave me a smile
was (name changed to protect the innocent) 'Please copy AA IN AZ AA IN AZ'
Took me a second to figure that one out :-)
73 and thanks for the Q's.
