The Raytown (MO) ARC set up behind Raytown city hall. CW had a 40' tower with
an A3 tribander and an HF6V vert, SSB had a 40' tower with an A3 and a trap
dipole for 40/80 and a recieving beverage. GOTA had a 40' tower with an A4 and
a trap dipole for 40/80. uhf/vhf had a 30' crank up with yagis on 6, 2, and
432. Satellite station had 11 ele yagi's on a single tower section. Quite a
large set up for a small club.
Roger, W0KWJ, cooked hamburgers and hot dogs Saturday afternoon and a good time
was had by all. Many op's and kids got a chance at contest style operating with
coach Barb (KG0UT) at the GOTA station.
Total score is down a bit from last year's #1 score in class 2A. But the effort
and fun were there.
