Comments:
I operated true rover style with setting up and taking down wire antennas at
each location. I use a fishing pole to install a pull rope and fast deployment
40/20 and 80 meter inverted veeâ??s on custom winders. There was no operation
while in motion between locations. This was also a solo operation with no
assistant.
I like the rover rule that does not allow operation while moving between
counties. That is a good one.
I donâ??t like having to enter VE__ for the Canadian mults since they are all
sending the two letter abbreviations. Makes the brain have to convert the two
letters to a three letter code and slows down the entry.
Ended up cutting short my stay in MERCER when the farmer came by and threw me
out of his alfalfa field (looked like weeds to me!) However that allowed me to
spend the last hour in LAWRENCE as "fresh meat"!
