Comments:
Poor conditions on 20 (at least for a wire antenna). I heard guys with big
antennas running EU stations I couldn't hear. I could only work the big EU
stations. 15 M opened to EU on both mornings but not for long and from my
measley total of 15 Q's you can see I didn't do well there either. 40 and 80
had better propagation but very high QRN limited my ablilty to copy many of the
weaker stations. I heard nothing on 10 M!
I didn't spend much time in this one. Tuning around during the day for an
hourly rate of 10 or 15 Q's is not my idea of fun. "Honey do's" took care of
the rest of the time.
Setup here - OMNI VII, ALS-600, 400W, Balanced Tuner - 176' CF Zepp at 60'
My thanks to the guys who could pull me through.
Let's hope the propagation starts to improve soon.
