Comments:
What a weekend! Conditions didn't seem to be good; signals overall were weak,
and the large storm area in the center of the country moved the S-meter up 2
units when an antenna was pointed west. The polar paths, however, did open and
enough stations were available to create a potential new SOHP record for the
In-area NEQP.
Multipliers:
55 S/P (missed ND, AK, LB, NB, NF, NU, NWT, YT, PEI)
56 C (Best DX: VQ9, A6, YB, 4X, 4L, HL, VU, VR, 4J, OX, V3)
Rate: For entire contest, 66/Hr.
Best SSB Hour: 1800-1900Z Sun, 20M SSB, 115
Best CW Hour: 2000-2100Z Sat, 20M CW, 88
N4PN led the way with 7 QSOs, followed by K1RX, AD4EB, N4CW, and WN1GIV with 5
each. Another 40 stations had 3 or 4 QSOs each.
Didn't do much SSB until Sunday- between InQP, NEQP, 7QP, and ARI, 20M SSB was
a zoo Saturday afternoon, with an open frequency impossible to find. Surprised
to find 10M open Sunday- only wish more stations had been there to take
advantage of the opening.
To everyone, thanks for the Qs!
