I have always encouraged others not to be worried about contesting with any
simple setup. Hereat I had a good multiband 2 el Quad at my home and a great
antenna farm on OL5T contest site. This all has gone and now I have just the 80
m dipole and newly G5RV on a location of friend of mine.
I had a great fun with these antennas. G5RV was pull up on a 14 m high tower
just before the contest in a heavy shower... It worked very well on 20 and
mainly on 40 it gave me wonderfull experience. I look forward to another
contests.
