Comments:
Well, I was hoping to get on and work a lot of the WRTC stations. My xyl was
very nice and let me operate alot. It was a great time. Of course is was mostly
a 20 meter contest. Ended up doing mostly cw, sorry for the brain farts from
time to time. With many hours of ~100/hr on cw it was just too much fun on cw
to go to ssb. CW is King !
It was very nice to have a good JA and Asia run on Saturday morning. And
running Europe on Saturday evening. It was very fun to be called on 40 by the
WRTC teams. For a few minutes it was like JA run, one after another all waiting
their turn.
15 meters had some good q's but no Eu. Kind of tough but, was ok..Glad I made
the q's there that I did..10 had a few signals but, didn't go there long.
40 and 80 were in fair shape for summer. They were vry noisey on ssb.
160 was a bust. Did get W1AW and NU1AW and a couple more.
What a blast and I think my best score for IARU despite the low sunspot number.
See ya all in the next one.
Vry 73 Dave KT0R
