Comments:
It is always fun to find old friends contesting on this once a year event on
160 meters where you can find SSB signals from 1.8 Mhz to 2.0 Mhz. I did not
work into the late hours the first night because I like to rest up for the
NAQP RTTY contest on Saturday afternoon and evening.
It is too bad that these contests are at the same time every year. I think I
will have to concentrate on one or the other but not both.
It is a struggle to work this contest with low power but I do it again and again
because I don't like to run the amp into the tuner and I can't seem to get an
antenna that is flat across the 200 KHz.
I know I got more QSOs than last year but I think I had more multipliers last
year. I only got 1 DX this yeaar and I know I have worked more in the past.
