Comments:
Nice to work a lot of MWA friends and acquaintances from my two-year tour in
Minnesota. I'd hoped to work all 87 counties. But, I missed COOK at the start
and subsequently decided to take an hour off in the middle of the day.
The mobile (and fixed) stations really did a fantastic job. Thanks for pulling
me through the piles! Here's my approximate breakdown: NE9U (25), K0PC (20),
N0IJ (20), W0AA (19), N0IM (18), AC0W (18), N0PI (18), W0ZQ (11), N0EO (10).
I kept the B radio with one ear on 3550 all day. The band was open to eastern
MN throughout the contest. I heard N0UR aggressively moving local stations from
band to band. That must be his secret for high QRP scores!
Equipment: 2X TS-930S/PIEXX, 40-foot T vertical for 80 meters, 40/20/15 fan
dipole at 25 feet, W3NQN filters
Thanks for the Q's and CU in the (CW) Sprint!
73,
--Ethan, K8GU.
