Well, I didn't reach my goal of 1,200 Qs, but this was my best ever JARTS RTTY
score.
About 3 hours before the end of the contest, my antenna rotator died with the
antenna pointing North. It probably didn't affect my overall score, but it is a
good excuse. It was hard to copy most stations with it stuck at VE7. It did
help boost my W7 and VE7 rate for the last part of the contest, but I would have
rather had it stuck pointing to Japan.
To Luis, XE1L, I apologize for calling CQ on your run frequency, but thanks for
the 15m multiplier. I really didn't mean to do it, but it was a faster way to
make it through your pileup. Hi Hi
The highlight of the contest was having CN8KD answer my CQ on 10m, after having
quit trying to make it through his pileup.
Thanks to all for the Q's, and see you next year.
73, Bill
