Comments:
After my first place a last year on SOAB Low Power. I had plan to work this year
in category M/M or M/2 with Mitko ( LZ1UQ ) and other from LZ9W Contest Team but
few days before contest Mitko told me that he is busy at work and can¡¦t help
me. I take decision to arrive on LZ9W Location on Friday afternoon.
It was a Autumn Lord's ¡§gift¡¨ - a bad weather with temps around 8 - 15 deg C
from Friday to Monday morning with light rain¡K. ?¼
Arrived about 1800 local time but there was only Ilia ( LZ4UU ) - 22 years old
new addition to LZ9W contest team and did extremely well although he is mainly a
CW op.
He can¡¦t possible to help me because will be busy through the weekend, with
some other guys which is prepare a new amplifier for 15m and 10m.
After our conversation with Ilia start to prepare again one operating place ¡K
Install the radio (FT1000MKVField) with PC and checking the condx. After our
club activity on WPX CW 2005 I have not any ideas about propagation , but after
some minutes read excellent NA signals on 20m ¡Kfollowing with JA¡¦s on 40m
SUPER !!! turn of the equipment¡Kand Going sleep !!!
Start the contest on 00:00 on 40m with nice opening to NA ¡K.all night work only
on
40m and 80m ¡K read to much multi but lose part of them (they can¡¦t hrd me ) ¡K
but catch them on the next morning ?º ¡K
Condx were better than expected and it was a real fun for to operate in CQ WW
RTTY.
Differently from previous years there was also an increased JA activity and
quite a number of stations from China showed up, too. Good news in South East
Europe!
10m was close too long time but catch some opening in Sunday 16-17 UTC , where
all QSO was welcome ?º
Two station Z37M and A61AJ was 6 band ¡K.lose the HC8N on 10m but thank you to
other bands.
Thank you to all friends, who make a contact with me !!!
