This year we had to compete against Hurricane Rita. I hope that no one was
greatly affected by her. It was very slow going at first. But by mid afternoon
things began to pick up. I logged 800 plus miles and went through two drivers.
It is still the most fun anyone can have while riding through the Great State of
Texas. Let's hope that next year we wont have Mother Nature interferring with
the contest. (Or anything else.)
