Was not going to be in town so didn't sign up for an NCCC team. Saturday
morning plans changed a bit, so jumped in at the start for an hour and then
showed up here and there off and on. Couldn't resist the last few hours, and
tried to get a better handle and practice with this SO2R stuff.
One thing is for certain - I need to re-organize the station and layout if I'm
gonna get into any kind of SO2R groove here. On a scale of 1 to 10, my SO2R
skills increased from a 1 to maybe 1.5 (getting to a 2 or 3 should be easier
once I reconfigure stuff).
15/10m were pathetically silent here...didn't hear a soul whenever I listened.
It was thrilling, however, to work about 7 YLs in the contest. Tnx to all the
nice ladies for showing up :-)
