Comments:
Typical August conditions. 40M was a disappointment - just couldn't get a run
going. 20M saved the day with excellent conditions late in the evening. 80M
very noisy.
Thanks to all the ops who QSYed - most were successful and added a lot of fun.
Surprisingly, most of the QSY's to 15M worked - the band was usable - just no
activity.
My best effort ever in August NAQP. I owe it all to Chet W6XK for letting me
use his excellent station. Thanks Chet! And thanks to the family for putting
up with non-stop "Echo Echo" for 10 hours. I couldn't get rid of the distortion
in my notebook computer generated canned messages so I used the mike for the
entire contest. I have a habit of yelling, as if that will make me any louder
:) I probably won't be able to talk again for a day or two ...
Thanks again for all the Q's - I had a blast.
73,
Ron N6EE
