Hi to all,
This was a great week-end for the core team of the former 5V7C/TO7C
operations.
We operated from Bernard F9IE's home on EU064.
This was the opportunity to test one of the two spiderbeam we will take to our
next African trip next year.
We had a lot of fun despite poor DX conditions. Short-skip openings on 15/10
allowed some nice runs.
80m was tuff and we will definitely need to improve the antenna for next year.
The pile-ups on the barbecue were tuff... to get out!
Stations were:
RUN: TS850 (100W) + CAT + bandfilters
MULT: IC706MK2G (100W) + CAT + bandfilters
MULT2: Barbecue + saussages & beef + "a few" bottles of French "Muscadet" wine
Antennas : spiderbeam 10/15/20 @ 17m + sloper 40m + inverted V 80m + R7 for MULT
station
PC network using Win-Test and DXcluster access.
Thanks to all of you who called us, we hope to contact you again soon
