Comments:
Congratulations to N4PN on another great one man effort - certainly put the two
of us in the shade! Generator we borrowed only ran about 2 hours on a tank of
gas and had to be shut down to refuel - fortunately we had set one radio up to
run off a car battery while charging it from the generator. It allowed us to
keep going while refueling.
Really get a thrill out of the high QSO rates that you can achieve in this
contest from a home station with 100 watts and good antennas. The QRP power
multiplier is a great equalizer though. Would be interesting to see how things
would play out if these same power multiplier rules were applied to contests
like SS or NAQP.
Radios: IC 756 ProII and Tentec Orion configured for SO2R.
Antennas: 4L SteppIR @ 135', 40 meter rotary dipole @ 140', 2L Quad @ 48', 80m
