A contest for fun to test : my antenna system, two fans for my old 706, 2 usb
converter and packet reception...
I was active this WE RTTY and SSB on 7 bands to do new country.
Working condition :
IC706 (50W)
compaq N600c
N1MM V5
Dual 3Y 20/4Y 15M, dual 3Y 18/4Y 10M, GP 40M full size, inverV 80M, 1/2 wave
12M... what a program tree hours for assembling !!!!
Propagation was excellent on 20 and 15, very poor on 40M (ARI contest on the
same time) and minimun on 10/80M.
Now the station is ready... I have to check the computer 3 shut down without
explanation !!!!!
