Is there a 1/2 All band category?
When will they add a Vertical only category?
As usual, had a great time, picked up total 4 new Countries, with 4 new ones on
40 and 15 and 3 new ones on 20. Condix were much better the first 24 hours,
with a decline in signal quality second 24 Hrs. Second day had to struggle with
noise and weak signals, and a in bound thunder storm with high winds some gusts
up to 100Km/H. Could not get a decent run on 40 Sunday night, 20 was getting
more unstable, so decided to call it a night.
The final hours the bands were a bit noisy, but managed to pull out a few. Some
I had to pass on, just too weak. Did better that last year by about 80K, but
the UBN's will reduce this I'm sure.
Thanks to all that stuck in there while I pulled you out, and those that came
back for a second and third try. While there is no much of a problem with local
QRM and someone "stealng" Ok maybe a bit harsh..."Procuring" your run freq
while fixing a cup of coffee... in the lower hemisphere.. but I have wound up on
what apears to be a clear frequency, only to find out it is occupied by a
Northern hemisphere station which everyone needs at the same time... Thanks to
those that let me know...
