Comments:
No fair, 40 didn't come out to play. I call do-over.
I was debating my entry category all week. I kept remembering how fantastic 40
was in last weekend's qrp contest and thought maybe I'd stick to 40m
single-band. I sure was 180 degrees out of phase with the ionosphere on that
one.
Aborted the single-band idea at about 4 hours into the test. After that I found
75/80 were good. Signals on 160 were loud, but not many there.
Truly enjoyed saying hi to all the excellent CCO op.'s, and also the outside-VE3
callers. Thanks to the rovers/portables making the extra effort despite lousy
conditions. My apologies to any I couldn't hear - especially on 40, I was
trying really hard to pull out any signal I heard but condx just didn't
cooperate.
Next time!
73, Chris VA3NR
