Comments:
This was the first time my wife and I spent Thanksgiving in Aruba. It was a fun
experience and we had lobster instead of the traditional turkey for dinner.
Murphy stopped by for a brief visit as the radio room air conditioner broke just
hours before the contest. Fortunately, I was able arrange emergency service and
I had it repaired Saturday morning. Aruba had a lot of rain just before the
contest making it pretty humid, so I was happy to have my A/C restored.
Everything else went pretty well except 10m never really open well to Europe
which hurt really my multiplier total. 15m was fantastic. I had hoped to break
320 countries, however there were just too many pileups that I couldn't break
with only 5 watts. This was my second CQWW CW QRP from Aruba and I had a
fantastic time. Please QSL via WD9DZV
