Comments:

Ah, the bottom of the sunspot cycle from the far North. Where else could you
expect to do better on 160 meters than you can do on 15? Where 10 meters is a
vast wasteland with a 50 minute long backscatter opening? Where you can do
better on 80 than on 40? The propagation was challenging to say the least. If
we had any sort of propagation on 10 or 15 we might have been able to make a
real splash. It was still a lot of fun and it was the first attempt at a M/2
effort from W0ZT's station. It went surprisingly well with no technical
glitches to speak of. Missed hearing Pat N9RV and the other guys who suffered
ice damage last week. Thanks to Greg K0OB for sitting in and to Bob W0ZT for
the use of his station.
