Comments:
I was whipped Friday evening, but still managed about 360 QSO's. Runs were
good but with gaps at times with no callers, I started on 1835.2 a primo
spot, but QRT'ed for dinner. Condx were a bit below normal the first night,
but Caribbean sigs were fairly plentiful. The Rocky mtn/Canadian prarie area
was not heard, except for K0TO who couldn't hear me. He called me later for
ID. I heard one weak Eu only the first night very near my CQ freq. The second
night managed to amass OM3GI, M0SDX, and SO2R. I heard 3 Russians, none of
which could hear me with LP. The DX was disappointing to put it mildly
especially considering the wonderful opening to A4, 9K2, and A6 during the
mid-week before. Missed NE, NV, WY, AB, MB, and 5 sections in CA, think I
worked 4 from SV. I must have worked at least 10 WMA stations which I almost
missed in phone SS, guess they are big on top band there, Hi! Ended up with
3 from NNY and DE, thanks always dependable AA1K. Best DX was KH6ZM, not a
peep from any other DX to west. With as little time as I put in, I was lucky
to break 100K; thanks for the Q's. Most ops were great!
