Comments:
Family activities (and some changing priorities and interests) placed this
year's contest on the back-burner. However, I haven't missed getting on in a SS
for decades, so I made an effort to put what time in I could. I bagged the SO2R
activity, and since most of my time was in one block, I stuck to the one band
that seemed to play the best for as long as I could. Since I was both time
limited and not using the second radio, I also decided to limit my S&P activity.
The rate was surprisingly good for most of the time, so that decision worked
out. Luckily, my major time was on Saturday and I missed most of the odd
conditions on Sunday (except for the 1 1/2 hours that I was on late in the
afternoon). It was odd to have major flutter on one station, and the next one
would come in like a local (on 15M). It's always nice to run into calls that I
have worked for years - its' like seeing old friends. Thanks for the Q's.

Ed - K6CTA
