Comments:

John W6LD loaned me his DX Doubler for this Sprint. I got it set up and played
with it a bit in the Collegiate QSO Party before the Sprint started. I decided
to try WriteLog since I'd used it several times in multi-op contests, but had
never set it up myself before. Either I set up the DX Doubler or WriteLog
wrong, but I was only able to send messages from one of the WriteLog radio
windows. I probably should have used TRLog since I'm much more familiar with
it.

The first 10 minutes of the contest went well and I also had high rates after my
2 band changes, but most of the rest was a real struggle. I kept tuning across
stations I'd already worked, CQs didn't produce, and I'd lose out in pileups.
The log has many 3-minute gaps and somehow I didn't work anyone for an 8 minute
stretch in the final half hour.

I missed CT, RI, AL, KY, MS, OK, UT, and ND. From Canada I only worked VE2,
VE3, and VE7. Heard and missed VE5 and KY.

Congratulations to the operators who got near or over 300 Q's.

73,
-Mike, N7MH
