Comments:
There were fewer signals on 10 and 15 than complaints on this reflector about
poor propagation on those fine bands whose resurrection I will be glad to
witness. I really missed the Qs and mults available there as recently as August
2003. My antenna project this summer has been to improve my 40M wire antenna.
Although I've only got 1 element up so far, it's a lot better than what was
there before.
Thanks to everyone who attempted to move for me, and especially to those for
whom it didn't work out. All that work and no points.
The VY1s were out in force: CQ, JA and MB. Thanks to you all, and especially to
J for offering me 160 and moving to 40 instead. Time to build a 160 antenna
here.
Other heroes: KH6QJ for taking a moment out of the SEA contest for an NAQP Q,
W1KLM for frequency etiquette, WR8O for two WY mults in the closing five
minutes, and W6OAT for enthuasism and guidance.
