Comments:
Drove up to a 3,000ft mountaintop & cannibalized my 6BTV vertical for one
section of tubing that worked just right for 6m :-) Whipped together 4 quick
radials & had it all mounted on the back of my SUV. K1SG/6 was my 1st 6m QSO
with my own rig after being licensed for 47 years!!! Always room for something
new. Only QRV an hour to work as many of the NCCC gang as I could find & then
back down to reality. Fun, except I learned to NOT have after-shave on when
going into the woods. Darn, those flies knew how to bite!
