Comments:
Not surprised by 10M but its still disappointing. I was able to work CT1, EA8,
and CN2. I heard OK1RI but he could not hear me. I also heard a couple of the
Italian M/M but ESP.
80M was a surprise for me. I just didn't hear much coming from EU despite quite
a few EU stations being fairly loud. Heard no EU on 160.
Interestingly, I ended up about the same number of Qs as last year on 15/10 just
mostly on 15 this year. I made up for 10 with a better performance on 160 and
40 vs. last year. Overall, the score is up a few percent.
Some real nice DXpeditions made this fun. 40M phone is still a mess but was to
be expected. Pretty nice JA opening here on Sat at 2130Z. Nice to see that
holding despite 10M in the dumps. Very little Africa (CN, 5U, EA8, CT3, TU,
9J). Pacific was low but that could have been prop here. Also, it seemed like
I heard more KL7 stations on than I have heard in all other contests combined
this year. That was great to see. Thanks guys and gals!
See you in WPX SSB as NV1N.
