Comments:
The score is approximate; I've not merged the logs yet. But the TR network
protocol is pretty robust, so I expect only a few small corrections based on
notes we made during the contest.
Mike and I had a great time. Conditions were fabulous! Except on 10 meters;
Saturday was really good for this point in the cycle, and Sunday was more
typical of what I expected. We were really pleased with how everything worked
and had a good time finding everything ourselves--packet walked the plank at
K2UA about 3 years ago.
The trash that spread across the bottom of 15 meters for a couple of hours on
Sunday, early in the afternoon, was unpleasant. It was ionospheric and peaked on
Europe; it was at least S8 and we had to change course (go high in the band) to
avoid it. Anyone know what that was?
I don't think we could have asked for better conditions or a better time,
overall!
