Comments:
What a great contest. Thanks CQ Magazine.
Band conditions were good all weekend. Managed to break the huge pile on the A6
after only 2 calls so the TX antennas are working. What an incredible signal he
has. We still need to do more to hear however. Pulling out the weak ones was a
chore.
There were a few stations we managed to hear and couldn't work but I think we
managed to work every multiplier we heard which is good.
Managed to work a few new Europeans on Sunday night which really surprised me.
Actually picked up 3-4 new DX multipliers Sunday night before the end.
I looked forward to operating with the ORION and an Alpha all weekend but the
ORION died early Saturday morning. It's probably headed back to Tn for repairs.
Fortunately we had a spare Omni 6 Plus to put in it's place and that worked fine
the remainder of the contest.
