Didn't expect to play this much and now wish I would have played longer. I
attended a High School Basketball game, had an extended pleasant dinner with the
family (food was good). It sure is nice to have good low band antennas when the
bands cooperate. Although I didn't get to play for the full 10 hours I think
productivity allowed me to break the Missouri record. Wonder what I could have
done with all ten hours. Low band listening was my specific advantage along with
good transmit antennas. I'm beginning to understand the advantage old timers
have by getting to know the contest community, you can anticipate their names
and reports. That sure saves a bunch of time instead of straining to know "Dink"
or "Flip" or "Hoot". Thanks to NCJ.. you have my support and subscription. I
hope others will follow.
