Casual operation as I learned Writelog on the fly! An old DOS dog trying to
learn new XP tricks....whew! Didn't start till midafternoon (after teaching the
new XP computer how to send CW via the lpt port) and missed most of the 10 meter
action. Went out to early dinner and missed most of 20 meters also. Obviously
learned that I need a 160 antenna of some sort on this city lot.
What a great contest! Short and to the point!
QSY'd up and down the spectrum upon lots of requests....I need better and
quicker band change methods. Wish there was a Q-signal for "sorry, not now, I'm
SO1R with puny antennas and I'm enjoying a nice run on this freq., maybe
later!". Nice to work old friends and new! Can't wait for the next one!
