Comments:

This was my first serious run at the NAQP. Previous times out
were just hunting for new states toward WAS.
Now I have a benchmark for future runnings, so I can measure my
progress. I feel I did rather well, thanks to a new addition to
my WimpyWire antenna system. I now have a high (40 ft) 40m dipole
with tuned feeders, a Lazy H for 10-15-20m (it actually worked
rather well on 40m at night also), and my top-loaded 50 ft 160m
vertical. Still have a big hole in my 80m antenna coverage, though.
I noticed others complaining about the shortness of multipliers
this time. I checked my mults by band and found that they came
easiest on 15m (1.8 QSO/mult) and hardest on 80m and 10m (2.8 Q/M).
Being antenna challenged on 80m (just my 60-ft 40m dipole), I worked
a number of left coasters, but only 5 mults. On 10m, I noticed
that I worked large numbers of stations in the same state, so there
must have been some very specific paths open at that time. I totally
missed other states right next to them.
Anyway, I had a great time. TR Log worked great on my ancient 33 MHz
laptop, and I enjoyed watching the score ramp up. It was fun pointing
to it when the XYL would come out and ask how I was doing.
See you all in the CQ 160m test coming up.
Station: K2 at 5w
          Lazy-H for 10-15-20-40m
          40m dipole
          50 ft top-loaded vertical for 160m
