Comments:
At less than 28 Q's/hour, and mostly S&P, this was less interesting than it
might have been. Still, the conditions were surprisingly good enough to support
those of us around the world who got on the air. I found all bands to have most
of the classical openings and enjoyed 10-15 and 40-80 so much that I forgot to
get on 20! 40 and 80 long path were nice.
At an average 2.68 points per QSO, there still a nice percentage of
other-continent contacts. 14% Europe, 42% JA 7% VE and 6% US.
I tried to use packet for the searching, but my Internet Packet Cluster
connections was up less than half the time. Don't know what the problem is, but
for hours at a time, I couldn't even Telnet to any of the clusters.
Happy Holidays,
Ed - W0YK
