Comments:
Personal best so far! I got off to a bad start, as I wasn't finished fixing
things at 2100. I missed the first 10 minutes in the rush to finish. The first
hour or two didn't go so well, but after that the rate got better. Conditions
were great on saturday. 20 was open late saturday night with very short skip and
strong signals. And very quiet low bands. I worked AK on 40, but never heard
NT. Spent plenty of time on 20/40 beaming NW to no avail.
Flare on sunday-- still had enough off time left to cover it. The bands seemed
to recover just fine afterwards although the low bands were noisier than on
saturday.
Being in a "semi-rare" section now, I really notice when I get spotted on
packet...suddenly a string of "u" stations (often from one area) shows up in the
log. Sometimes some A and B stations also...makes you wonder...
