Comments:
The local newspaper had a picture of the sun/sunspots on the
front page Saturday morning. Despite the ominous predictions,
I found the conditions to be better than last year. I had good
openings at one time or another to all areas, except Asia. The
JA opening was very poor. On the other hand, the band was
absolutely packed during the Sunday AM European opening...
until the flare hit at 18:20. But even with the solar event,
there were still stations to be heard and worked. Thanks to
all who dug out my LP signal.
