Comments:
I would like to thank Walt, WA1HHN, for allowing me to use the site. It's about
2100 feet pretty typical for the hills in south central Pa. The station
consisted of;
50 8el @ 80ft 1500watts
144 2x17B2 @ 120ft 1500watts
222 2xM2? @ 70ft 1500watts
432 4xM2? @ 80ft 100watts
903; 1296; 2304; 3456; 5760; 10368; 24; 47; various loopers, yagi's,and small
dishes all tower mounted and prepared by N3EMF @ 60ft
I would like to thank all the Rovers who did such a fine job of activating grids
and bands that would not have been available otherwise. Special thanks to the
efforts of WA1HHN/R; N2GKM/R; W3HMS/R; WA3PTV/R; VE3OIL/R; ND3F/R; and W3IY/R;
W3IY/R; W3IY/R; W3IY/R; etc..
Band conditions were pretty flat. The rain or mist lasted the entire contest and
into the next day. I had 1 sked that I missed so all contacts were made
randomly. I had hoped to get WSJT up and running but it never happened. Wait
till next year, hihi.
Stan, KA1ZE
