Comments:
I haven't done the Sept sprint high power since 1999 (I think).... now I
remember why I've been avoiding it. Got off to a great start.... then
everything just fell apart... could not get anything going after 0130z. 80
was great for the first 15 minutes. Seems like every person that I tuned across
was already in the log... and my CQs went unanswered. Only managed 21 Qs in
the last 30 minutes.
Kudos to KW8N for overcoming a 30 QSO deficit with 48 minutes left... and 13 Qs
with 15 minutes left.... he caught me on while I was on 80... not sure what he
did that I didn't.... but he obviously did something right. W9RE and K7RI also
caught up and surpassed me... excellent job by them.... and K4XS for finding
those muts. I worked every mult that I heard.
This was a brutal contest... I think I'll stick to Feb from now on... and just
hand out Qs in Sept.
