I did have 2 radios, but I think it was a disadvantage. The second radio (80
meters only) was a TS-830, which though a good radio is so different from the
first radio (IC-746) and those at other stations I operate that I never felt
comfortable with it on 80.
After a summer filled with contests clobbered by bad conditions, it was nice to
have some good conditions for a change.
