I think the recent efforts to increase team activity by W4AN and many 
others have really turned this one into a fun event... one thing is for 
sure - there sure ain't no Sunday afternoon doldrums!  When I saw my 40 
and 80 meter antennas were hosed I did not throw the switch but kept 
"getting pummeled" myself!

It is easy to understand why the Sprint - which has been referred to as: 
"The contesters contest" continues to RETAIN an active following.

...mebbe W6OAT will share with us the tale of the birth of the North 
American Sprint!
