If you can't tell, I was in it for the fun and to give out DE for those needing
a mult or a new state. I need to work on my antenna(s) a short dipole at 25'
and a half square for 20m pointed north/south left a lot of stations I was not
hearing. Rig was an IC-706mkIIg with a Heil "traveler" boom mike. I had s9
noise levels on 80m. 2-3hr of thunderstorms from 1900z to ~2100z. The
interface between the rig and the laptop for logging the freq via WriteLog
worked great when asked to qsy to a different band - like cheating (having
someone else logging).
