Comments:
Figured I would make a few contacts while fixing broken radios.
Experimented with two radios, trying to determine why 100 watt radios produce so
much interband interference. Problem was greatly reduced with bandpass filters,
which inuitively think I shouldn't need.
Did not move any stations to other bands except 1/2 hour from the end, went with
XE2MX from 80 to 160 to 40. Tried 20 but nothing heard. At end of contest noted
a 40 meter bandpass filter in the output of the rig I used on 20. Obviously
things are not perfected.
Bad line noise on high bands impacted hearing there. Disappointing since I
thought I had it fixed.
At the end found out I had operated essentially 10 hours. Good grief! Actually
the NAQP is a really good contest.
