Comments:
What can I say! But, again Mother Nature provided distrubed conditions for us at
53 deg. north latitude. With a K index of over 5 for 18 plus hours makes the
Sierra Victor Team a very grumpy group.
We could not establish a run hold into Europe or Japan on any band! All paths to
these locations were extremely skewed. Saturday night's Aurora display was seen
south of us in brillant colors of green and red.
Here's our QSO breakdown:
160M 80M 40M 20M 15M 10M Total %
NA 14 183 415 55 659 470 1796 72.3
SA 1 5 17 18 38 27 106 4.3
EU 1 0 54 72 41 5 173 7.0
AS 0 0 39 56 193 49 337 13.6
OC 0 1 11 3 16 10 41 1.6
AF 0 0 8 10 9 5 32 1.3
Anyways enough crying, on behalf of the Sierra Victor Team we thank all stations
who worked us over the weekend. It was time well spend on fine tuning
contest operating skills for the future. In closing the team approves the new
M/S rules for 2003, it was more fun.
73, Sierra Victor Team
